In January 2019, the Reproductive Health Act was passed which was co-sponsored by my opponent Carrie Woerner, the elected official representing District 113. As a proud father of two small children, Evelyn and Edward, I was disheartened that this type of legislation was a product of the Upstate Community which my family and I call home. After prayerful consideration, and with the support of my family, I have chosen to seek the Republican endorsement for the 2020 race for NYS Assembly.
I have been actively involved in the business community as the President of the Malta Business and Professional Association, and as of January 1st, I will sit on the Board of Directors for both the Chamber of Southern Saratoga County and Capital Region Chamber of Commerce. I have built my career in Real Estate Development and currently serve as the Director of Marketing for a property management company in Malta, NY. As your elected official, I will work to support legislation which protects small businesses, support your second amendment rights, support the right to life, and religious freedoms. My focus will be on rebuilding our infrastructure, and ensuring we have access to clean water, and safe roads to drive on.
As you can see, I am excited at the possibility of serving the people of this great state. But before I can serve, I must conduct a very aggressive campaign. My opponent, Carrie Woerner, has received hundreds of thousands in political contributions from the Democratic Party, and her liberal supporters. This is a race we can win, and our families deserve to be represented by a candidate who will protect and uphold your values and fight back against the liberal agenda in New York State.
To be successful in this endeavor it will take a very strong and robust grass roots organization. I believe the voters of this district will step forward with my family in a united volunteer effort. My family has been hard at work designing flyers, assembling teams, and planning events.
With thousands of brochures to purchase, hundreds of yard signs to order, scores of radio ads to place, online ad placements and two counties to cover, I will need your help. I am turning to the people who have made an impact in our community and humbly inviting you to get involved in my campaign.
Your early contribution, made payable to “Michael York for Assembly” will allow for continued growth and momentum as we prepare to restore Common Sense Republican Leadership to the New York State Assembly.
Your gift of $25, $50, $100, $250, $500 or $1,000 will help me raise the vital “early seed money” I need to successfully launch this campaign.
Our goal is to raise $15,000 by December 30th and I humbly ask for your support in helping us rise to this great challenge. I need your help in my journey to restore common sense and Upstate Values to NYS Assembly District 113.
Thank you in advance for your generous support and encouragement.
